October has once again proven to be one of the best times to visit Nepal. According to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), a total of 128,443 international tourists arrived in the country during the month, marking a strong comeback for Nepal’s travel and tourism industry.

This year was no different, as the country witnessed a steady flow of visitors exploring popular destinations like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Annapurna, and Everest Base Camp.
Tourist Arrivals by Region
NTB data shows that:
- 29,060 visitors arrived from South Asia
- 23,127 from other Asian countries
- 40,500 from Europe
- 16,407 from the Americas
- 6,814 from Oceania
- 3,548 from the Middle East
- 443 from Africa
- and 8,444 from other countries
These numbers highlight Nepal’s growing popularity among travelers worldwide.
Top Countries Visiting Nepal in October
India remained the leading source of tourists with 17,298 visitors, followed by:
- United States – 13,286
- United Kingdom – 8,718
- China – 6,755
- Germany – 6,366
- Australia – 6,177
- Sri Lanka – 5,535
- France – 5,045
- Bangladesh – 4,641
- Myanmar – 3,038
In total, 943,716 tourists have visited Nepal from January to October 2025, signaling a strong recovery in the tourism sector.
